2023 VISION FROM OUR FOUNDER

My vision for 2023 is to change the negative stigma attached to our youth being associated with senseless gun violence, as well as our underserved and houseless communities. Recently, social anxiety and mental health issues are at an all time high. We at Cappin4Capo would like to serve the underserved as well as redirect the youth to better opportunities by creating our Marvin “Capo” Carr Scholarship Fund. These Scholarships will be for students in three different categories; Scholastically, Athletically, and Musically. We believe that by leading by example and taking charge of making a positive change throughout our communities, our mission to foster a creative atmosphere of love, peace, and unity to all of the communities in our city will come to fruition.

At a young age, Marvin “Capo” Carr was very intelligent and athletic. Sports created an avenue for Marvin to demonstrate his leadership skills. PROGRAMS & EVENTS
Programs For School Aged Kids
CAPPIN4CAPO INC. is seeking funding required to establish a recreational program for school aged children. Through-out the year, students will have the opportunity to take field trips to sporting events and participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities. The overall aspiration of our after-school program is to provide an opportunity for learning, laughter, and fun, while helping to create a very exciting and enjoyable environment for all of the individuals participating in our services.
Annual Back to School Event
CAPPIN4CAPO INC. sponsors an annual back to school event for children. During this one-day event, participants are able to receive backpacks with essential school supplies. We firmly believe that this family-friendly event provides students with the resources required to begin their school year in a positive manner and be successful in their scholastic pursuits.
A Variety Of Events
CAPPIN4CAPO INC. organizes and invokes a variety of different events from "village talks," charity drives and various community services to help improve conditions in our society.
